The Berwick School District has completed construction on their brand new school – West Berwick Elementary. The $23 million school replaces Orange Street Elementary, which was built in 1932 and 14th Street Elementary, which was built in 1924. The old buildings were great and although, having significant historical value, were built in the depression era and certainly had seen better days.
Background on the Berwick School District Project
Ben Culver, Director of Building and Grounds – Berwick Area School District contacted us for assistance in aquiring high quality aerial photographs of several Berwick area schools and athletic fields. After discussing various options, including the use of our drone, it was clear that photographs from an aircraft would be significantly more cost effective. We were able to schedule and combine his special project while in the same area. We successfully completed the flyover and subsequent aerial photographs of 4 schools and 5 athletic fields.
This school project is a proud addition to our host of other education related projects throughout northeast PA. Scranton Prep installed a new athletic field a few years ago and we provided them with their overheads – featured on our exclusive photo gallery. The Allentown-Lehigh University in Bethlehem chose us for their school year-book and we received a 5 star review for excellence in service. Wilkes University, Misericordia and The University of Scranton have all used our aerial services numerous times over the years.
NEPA Aerial Photography is proud to assist the education sector in way we can because quality education matters. Gift Certificates are always available for friends and colleagues – considered the perfect gift. We can schedule aerial photographic services any time of the year. Whether aircraft or drone, hi-resolution photographs or stunning 4K video, feel free to use my convenient contact form should you have questions about any of our services.
